Insignia Tv As Computer Monitor

For more than five years I have been using my daughter's 42" Insignia TV for a monitor. I have been looking at purchasing a new monitor for several years. When I saw the ultrawide monitor I immediately wanted it. What kept me? The funds. At the time I just didn't have the funds to purchase one. I moved from Southern California to Oklahoma and the funds became available. I purchased the LG 34 CLASS 21:9 ULTRAWIDE FULL HD IPS GAMING MONITOR and I am loving it. LG has software to download that will allow your screen to be divided into so many different variations. I don't use it for gaming. I use it for website design and graphic creation. What a difference. I should have purchased this monitor years ago.

I got my LG for replacement for Insignia and I wish I would made this my first purchase. This TV have the best picture, sound and LG tv channels selection. The app is easy to use and to download. I would suggest this TV brand over others

I bought this about a month and a half ago. I had a 24" insignia tv and it continuously act up. Started looking for a new tv preferably a little larger. I found this 27" Lg which matches my 27" monitors on my computer. I am deaf in one ear so the sound enhancement feature was a big plus. The picture quality is great.

I bought this to power a Insignia TV and it works great. My wife has to have the TV on all night to sleep and when we had a scheduled over night power shutoff I used a 1000 watt power pack the keep the TV on but the alarm on the inverter sounded just before sun rise. I found this to plug my 195 watt IDX V mount battery and it kept the TV running all night without having to run the inverter and converter with all of their efficiency losses. Happy wife, happy life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really excellent smaller Samsung TV, and can be used both as a regular TV or a computer monitor. The unboxing and set up took less than 5 minutes from beginning to end. I plugged it in, connected it to WiFi, downloaded a software update, and downloaded all my streaming apps like Netflix and HBO Max. The Samsung TV has a very high quality picture and sound at 4K, plus for pictures, videos, movies, or tv shows that are not originally at 4K the TV automatically converts the picture quality up to 4K, which is awesome ! No issues at all so far with either sound or video, everything works really really well and it's very high quality for a smaller tv. I would recommend this 100% to anyone who doesn't really need a huge living room tv, or for anyone who needs a better computer monitor. 100% excellence from Samsung !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung M5 Smart Monitor! Ive had it for 2 years. I initially used it as a computer monitor, then hung it on the wall as a small TV, and now just recently I took it back down and pit it on my desk to use as a computer monitor! At 32" it preforms well at both, and happens to be very roomy as a desktop monitor! I love that it has miracast so you can use it for wireless DeX (found on S series phones & tablets to create a desktop expirence), you can also use as a wireless display for windows! I actually prefer HDMI so I can do HD content, music (on the amazing speakers), and have a very quick response time! Wireless it still happens to be very fast! This is not a touchscreen monitor, and I don't want it to be, it would not make much sense! Also this thing goes plenty bright, and has eye saver features. I like that you can download apps and use as a smart tv too. This also doubles as a smartthings hub if you are looking for that as a feature. Really I couldn't ask for anything more from a monitor!! Pros: Bright Large Smartthings hub Has miracast Tons of settings Smart TV too! Great Speakers! Cons: Only one I can think of, and it is that there seems to be a lack of customization features for the monitor UI, just something I noticed and it is a personal preference. This doesn't take away from my 5 stars, it wouldn't discourage me from buying a second one, it also wouldn't discourage me from telling anyone reading this review, DEFINITELY BUY THIS MONITOR TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Works exactly as expected. Can send the UHD output from my PS4 Pro to either my computer monitor or TV with no loss.

Using this to duplicate HDMI out of a computer and into a monitor and TV. No lag, color, or quality issues that I can identify with the naked eye.

My previous monitor didn’t have HDR so it was tough to see what I was editing until I uploaded it and watched it on a TV. This monitor has HDR so I can actually see what I’m editing correctly. This monitor is 1440p so I can see images nice and clearly and has a 165Hz refresh rate so games look amazing on it. On top of that, you can overclock the monitor to display at 185Hz which makes it even faster. I always plug my computer into a monitor using DisplayPort because it supports the highest frame rate and the monitor’s G-SYNC technology which reduces screen tearing when frame rates are higher. It also supports FreeSync if you have an AMD graphics card. This monitor is a monster in size at 32”. It is practically a small TV, perfect for streaming Netflix and Hulu. The Netflix Windows app even let me watch in HDR! You can also plug a USB cable from the monitor to your computer and use the high-speed USB ports on the monitor. The monitor comes with cables too, so you don’t need to go out and purchase a DisplayPort cable or an HDMI cable to use those features. It can also rotate 90 degrees to give you a smart phone orientation, if you are more comfortable with that for work documents in multiple windows. Used with a Sony OLED 77 in. It allows the huge screen, which I use as a computer monitor, to float over my desk, in any position. I can turn it and walk behind it to make connections. I attached a few straps to the mount on the back of the TV to move it without touching the TV. The only complaint is that, as the mount is covered in baked enamel, it is slippery and some adjustments, the horizontal level and the tilt angle may not hold steady. I used some blue Loctite to increase friction. Again, very sturdy and very long and very flexible... a gem.
