Install A Brother Printer Wireless Without Cd

I am extremely happy with this printer. It has great color and works reliably. If you have Windows 7 you must use the Add a Printer on the computer instead of the enclosed CD. I elected to make this printer wireless with the HP Jet Direct wireless option. Again the CD did not work and I had to call Tech Support to install it. However it works great, and also allows printing from the iPad and iPhone. I also got the extra 500 sheet tray and I recommend it if you wish to install a complete pack of paper at a time.

I have had a Brother label printer for the past 8 years and have loved it. I got a new one and again love it. It's easy to install and easy to use. My next one I would love for it to be wireless. That would make it perfect.

Nothing but greatness. Very pleased. I have a Brother HL5040, plain old printer, which is doing OK, but man o' man, I am so glad I got with the times. By the way, I quite enjoy thoroughly researching the things I buy. I installed the software on three machines. The software smoothly updates the firmware. Now, I did download the latest version instead of using the CD. The CD is marked which version it is. It could be the latest version, of course. You tell the install that you're using a CD, if it asks. Another thing is not to have other things running during the installation. I am always very good about that, except that I wasn't. I inexplicably allowed a lot of browser tabs to run during one of the installations. The installation worked, but there were three new printers showing instead of one. So, I used the uninstall found in the installed Brother Utilities, restarted, waited for the disk activity light to go dark and stay off (all my computers must have that indicator), ran CCleaner's Registry cleaner, powered off/on, waited, did the install, and it's all fine.

I will have to say this Epson printer is my new favorite. I currently own a Brother laser printer and while it's speedy, it doesn't have all the features this Epson printer does! For one, it lacks the wireless printing capabilities. It also doesn't have a scanner! One thing I had always wanted is to be able to print documents straight from my phone. And now I can! AND I don't even have to be nearby to do so. I was worried I wouldn't be able to utilize it with my iPhone without AirPrint but I was wrong. Setting up was easier than expected! I popped in the CD, and followed all the instructions which were super easy. I love that it gives the option to print out a test page. I have a Windows desktop and I also have a MacBook Air. I love that the instructions also made a note on how to download the software for those that lack CD drives. I will have to say it took less than 10 mins to install in both computers to printing out the test page. It was just that quick! The quality of the prints and scans are clear and easy to read. The ink is a deep color and it dries very quickly. I haven't noticed any smudging or fuzziness. I will happily choose to use this Epson printer over my Brother printer over and over. One thing I do like but others may not is that the printer makes a little bit of a loud sound while it's printing. I can hear it from across the room. But I love it! It assures me that my documents have printed when I want them to. A con I will mention is that I wish the opening to grab the papers was facing the same way as the small screen. It feels awkward pulling the sheets in the opposite direction. Purchased Brother HLL2480DW Wireless Black and White Laser Printer after with have an HP printer for a long time. What a difference! Easy set up and troubleshooting, quick printing and print quality.

Brother printer ink is easy to install and lasts a long time.

I have always been an HP owner, and this is my first brother printer and I love it. So easy to install and use.

The MF273dw printer is very easy to set up on a wireless LAN and is very easy to use. The included CD provided all the drivers needed to print wirelessly from computer to printer. Also, AirPrint from tablet to this printer worked great. This printer is loaded with features for home or office use. I give it an A+. This toner works great with my Brother printer. It's very easy to install. I haven't come across any issues yet!
