Install Steam Games On Solid State Drive

Solid state drive worth it.

I replaced an old mechanical spinning hard drive with this one and I am really pleased with it. The computer runs faster and there are no problems at all with heat. You can feel the quality of the item right when it comes out of the package. I can't say one bad thing about it. If you are looking for a Solid State Drive upgrade, I highly recommend this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to install this solid state drive from Kingston in my laptop with no issues. You could tell the difference immediately. It started running so much quicker, no lag time at all. It loads real quick now. It was packaged securely and was relatively easy to install. So far I have no issues with it.

This cable was used to install an extra solid state drive in a 2011 iMac. It is very versatile and with a minor modification, it worked perfectly.

excellent little solid state drive - and powerful

I needed a place to store all my Steam games since my boot drive was getting full, this works perfectly for that. While load times aren't noticeably different than my other SSD, it was m.2 as well so I'm not disappointed.

I bought this to upgrade my steam deck OEM 64GB drive. The price may be a bit high, but the packaging is lovely and can be re used for other various things. This little drive was very easy to install in the Steam Deck. You can watch videos on how to do so. Installing the games on it worked out well and I have no issues with running games from it.

Make sure you have the right cables or ports for this! I didn't and had to add a cable with the right input for this but was very worth it. Drives were easy to update once install and really simple, had no issues otherwise.

I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!
