I use windows 8.1 quite often. On this mac, all drives (except the internal flash drive) are external. Windows runs great off Thunderbolt connected drives. You can have multiple window drives and select the one you want on boot by holding down the option key. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

22TB SanDisk Pro G-Drive drive review I'm using this drive in a large photo and film Archive. I purchase a sample drive to test out before committing to more drives. The reformat to Windows is a pain. Luckily, I found a YT video that walked me through it. After reformatting the drive to Windows, the 22TB shrunk to 20TB. That is disappointing. It is not that noisy, just a few clicks once in a while. It is decently fast and really kinda quiet. I am using a USB3.0 port with Oyen adapter cable to go from USB C to USB A. SanDisk only gives you a USB C cable. Time will tell how they hold up, but if they do hold up, I plan to buy a few more. 5 |

Works exactly as advertised. Using Windows 11, with a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port which it needs to reach its advertised transfer rates, which it will not obtain using a Thunderbolt port. 5 |

Using this mic on Windows 10 as USB mic it's on the quiet side. Needs the gain turned all the way up. As an XLR mic it's also a bit quiet but preamps pull it up. 5 |

Using drive on my Mac Air and works perfectly. Came pre-formatted for Windows but easy to re-partition and format for use on both. Haven't had it for too long yet so not sure how well it will hold up in my laptop bag over time but so far can recommend the product. 5 |
