The Mac mini is a replacement for our old 2011 Mac mini. We use it as a standalone server for a variety of jobs: DNS, DHCP, file server and a backup server. We have two OWC Thunderbays connected with 16TB each that we use for backup using Carbon Copy Cloner and for file sharing for all of our Macs and Linux machines. We could not be happier with this configuration. The previous mini worked continuously and flawlessly for over seven years. We expect no less from this one. 5 |

Picture this, Trinidad 2011: I bought a Vixia and a wireless mike system from BH Photo and the two just produced the most awful hum! And after trekking to three audio stores in Trinidad (where they sold me all sorts of cables), plus going to a professional video place (where it worked fine), one chat with BH Photo and the guy immediately identified my problem as an impedance discrepancy.
