Installing Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Camera

My home association will not let install that white floodlight camera!

Unique floodlight with camera, added 2 to my NVR. I feel they work quite well.

Easy to install if you have an existing floodlight.

I bought this to use on my Blink security camera base unit. It is a perfect fit for my needs.

my search for perfect for shooting weddings ended when i purchased this camera.4k 10 bit ,1080 10 bit omg. fast auto focus.Better colors than my previous a7iii. the HDR is the best ever in any mirrorless camera. the image quality you get out of this camera is unbelievable. if you have anything against this camera, look for a different camera or work on your skills .

Been extremely satisfied with Ubiquiti's products and some years ago upgraded whole network over to Unifi line. Living in a townhome complex there are ton of neighboring access points and every now and then had a nest outdoor camera go down due to interference. Purchased the AP-AC-MESH which gave me the option to install wherever I needed, in/outdoor. Ended up installing it indoors and currently have it setup with uplink to an AP-AC-Lite and working flawlessly. One piece of advice if installing outdoors is to purchase one or two surge protectors (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1408366-REG/ubiquiti_networks_eth_sp_g2_surge_suppressor_protector.html) to protect your equipment as noted in manual.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really liking this camera floodlight! I was a bit worried it would be too bulky, but it looks fine now that it’s up on the house. I love that it has built in memory and there are no other costs to access your recordings! According to the app there is 7.3 GB of available storage, the old videos are overwritten with new clips. I have had the camera up for several weeks and the storage is only halfway filled. There is no continuous recording though. I am not sure if you do decide to pay for an optional subscription if you can get continuous recording? The motion detection works very well as far as the floodlight, but the camera has a small delay. It takes a few seconds for it to “turn on” and sometimes the clip does not contain the beginning of the motion. For example, it will record the delivery man leaving but it doesn’t catch a recording of him coming. Once it is on, it is great at following the motion and moving the camera lens around. Overall, I am pleased with it!
