Installing Honeywell Wifi Thermostat

Bought this in Oct 2018, to replace a standard Honeywell 24/7 programable thermostat and found this very simple to install and use. I emailed support a picture of current wiring and they came back 2 days later with the recommendation for the wiring. Within 10 minutes it was up and running. I use the geo fencing feature and it have learned my setting preferences to provide energy savings.

The Ecobee was recommended to me by the HVAC guy I had come out to remove the Honeywell thermostat I had installed. Turns out it was defective. The HVAC guy could tell I didn't know much about installing thermostats so he recommended Ecobee. It was also the least expensive of the newer "smart" products. I had no trouble at all putting in the Ecobee and getting it to work. And I love being able to adjust the setting with my phone.

Had an old Honeywell thermostat that came with the home built in 2003. Couldn't tell exact temperature. Wanted s smart thermostat that I could adjust while I was away to save energy. Purchased through my utility company and got a great deal and free install!

Really glad made the decision and replaced my 3 month old Honeywell thermostat thought it was same expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always saw ads for the ecobee smart thermostat but we had a Honeywell lyric so I was hesitant to try this. We love the recyclable packaging the product came in. It was super easy to install. The design is very sleek and I like the display and I love the eco+ and the smart home and away feature to help save money! We’ve only been using the for a few weeks but so far we are happy!

so far i haven’t had any issues. installing was a breeze and connecting to wifi took about 5 min, if that.

Thermostat works great. I have a 4 wire set-up and installing the C wire kit that is included was very easy.

I’ve had this unit in my cabnit as my current thermostat up and quit one day. Luckily I had a back up! I was nervous at first not knowing the ins and outs of installing such a device but thanks to the easy installing instructions included, hardware and convenient app application was breeze! The temperature settings works great and so easy to access your current settings when away with the app. I recommend 100%. Great envestment and easy-worry free climate control no matter the time of the year!

I was a bit intimidated at first with installing this myself. However, after thoroughly reading all of the installation guide and thoroughly familiarizing myself with my old thermostat wiring, I found the installation to be easy. I accomplished the job in about 1/2 hour. The instructions that Ecobee takes you through to finish the setup was easy and to the point.

After installing the new Nest thermostat I realized it’s location in my newly renovated home wasn’t ideal. So when I heard of the existence of the Nest temperature sensor it was a no brainer. And searched until I found a location with the 3 pack in stock and purchased them the very next day. Later in the week we went to the new house and I installed them. I highly recommend them.
