I was in search of an Instax camera as a creative outlet and to put a retro spin on my photography hobby. I'd looked at the popular Fuji Instax line of cameras, and even had a Mini 90's in a cart, ready to purchase... but I kept having one nagging question in the back of my mind that kept me from pulling the trigger. This is pretty automatic, and you're stuck at F/12.7. Is this going to really give me the creative control I'm looking for, or would this be better for parties and grabbing quick-memories? Well, I'm not a teenager. I don't really go to too many parties, and the novelty to my friends of an instant photo is a great for sharing, but it doesn't really fulfill my personal goals. However... F/5.7 for lower light and/or shallow depth of field and Manual Focus, coupled with shooting a kind of camera that I'd never shot before? THAT sounds more like what I was looking for! First up... it's expensive. You could buy a Fuji Mini 90, a Fuji 300 wide, a Fuji SP-1 Instax Printer, AND more than 100 shots of film for less than you can buy this one camera by itself... and it doesn't even include a neck strap. That's straight-up daunting, if I'm being honest. On that fact alone, I couldn't recommend this camera for someone who just wants to shoot the Instax Mini format for fun. It took me a week to really mull that over. Am I glad I made the decision I did? Absolutely. This camera has taught me to slow down, compose, and consider. Each shot matters, so I care and think more on every one. This camera WILL take more skill/time and trial/error to get quick shots in focus than other automatic options. Vignetting occurs at high aperture settings. I'm running out of characters B&H will let me use, so let's wrap up this up with pros/cons: Pros: Manual Focus, f 5.6, glass lenses, fun bonus aperture (mine was a clover!), hidden flash, optional ND filters, close up filters, and lens hood Cons: Manual Focus, expensive, light-meter not very dependable in bright light 5 |

This film is expensive, but B&H has some of the cheapest film for the mini Instax cameras. 5 |

I've waited for months to get this camera, and I am so happy that I did! Unfortunately, there were not any Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo cameras available locally, but fortunately, B&H had one to buy online! My entire order was effortless, being shipped and received immediately from B&H. I receive so many compliments on this camera with it's vintage brown leather look, and the features are amazing! Between the ability to chose different filters, lens styles and even print from your phone through their mobile app, this camera is a MUST HAVE for fun trips, excursions, and events! I praise this camera, and B&H, every time I am approached w/ it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing it for your special occasions too! 5 |

I use the film for my instax mini camera from Fuji film. It's always hard to find film for cameras like mine, and for a cheap price. At B&H, I can get the film for a decent price! There really isn't anything bad about this product that's bad, and now I only buy the film here! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Instax Mini Evo is a great camera. The camera is very easy to navigate through. The screen is a nice big size and you can see the pictures very well. The pictures print off fast and are good quality. I love that it can be accessed through Bluetooth and I can print more pictures from the library. The camera is bigger, but comes with an easy to use shoulder strap. 5 |

I have an instax 300 wide camera and just recently bought the instax mini 90. I wish I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Polaroids. You hang em on your walls, you give them to friends. Vintage is so cute. But- so impractical. I never use my instax cameras. This is 2022! We use our phones and we always have them with us. It's a waste to buy a camera you're not going to want to have with you every second. So this- this my friends- is the answer to all your hopes and dreams (Well maybe not the big, life hopes and dreams- just vintage polaroid dreams). You go on your adventures- you hike through forests, you roadtrip with friends, you go to grocery stores (now you're livin'!), and you're capturing every moment with your phone. Then you come back home, chose your favorites, wait a few seconds, and now it's in your hand, or on your walls. In my opinion, that's the way to do it. 5 |
