Instrumental Electronic Music

It's a beautiful experience listening to deep bass or instrumental music. Call quality is great too and they ares super comfotrable for wearing 2-3hr at a stretch. There are way too many features that I could not test. The connectivity to multiple devices is not very intuitive (TBH I have not seen the tutorial included in the app so it's partially my mistake) Overall, highly recommended. 5 |

I listen to classical music and acoustic modern jazzy music (97% instrumental). These headphones sound natural and feel comfortable on my head. If you like the K701 then these are much better. NOTE: They are not bassy; i.e. bass is neutral. 5 |

I use this as a road case for my electronic music equipment. On the road this is excellent for protecting my gear under all conditions and stands up to the abuse of loading in/out at all types of venues and weather conditions. The big bonus is the light weight and portablility. 5 |

I bought the 8010's to have some portability when traveling and producing electronic music. They have a roll off at 65 HZ, just where bass gets beefy. Considering the size of the 8010's they do an excellent job in the mid and high frequency range...but they seriously lack in the deep end. I have since supplemented them by adding the 7040A and the difference is astounding. Yes, this sub has weight to it, isn't exactly small and the idea of portability is somewhat limited now but I'd do what is necessary to bring this baby along for the ride. I'm talking fullness across the board when combined with the 8010's that could well stand up to my home studio near fields. 5 |

At the lowest price I could find for a controller keyboard, the Korg nanoKey2 is very impressive. It only has twenty-five keys, but the octave shift buttons allow you to change the octave up and down, giving reach to the full range of notes for electronic music. It has neat pitch bend, sustain, and vibrato buttons, too. It resembles a computer keyboard in the flatness and shape of the keys and is even smaller than a computer keyboard. It works great with my electronic music software. It even picks up musical accent (velocity); so the harder you press the keys, the louder it is, and the softer you press the keys, the quieter it is. The only thing that would make it better is if it had sounds of its own. However, it serves its purpose as a Musical Instrument Digital Interface controller well. It comes with a software code so you can download some electronic music programs from the Internet; so if you do not have music software already, you can get some to use with the nanoKey2. The cable that it comes with stays in the socket very tightly and it will not fall out so easily. This is good so it will not disconnect on accident. Overall, the Korg nanoKey2 is a good buy for being able to listen to, experiment with, and record sounds in audio software without having to use the computer mouse and computer keyboard all the time to program commands and test out sounds. It is light-weight and its slim-line design is very convenient and saves space. It would be good for use with a laptop on the go. I find it a nice addition to my desktop home studio. It is perfect in function for its size. Very neat. 5 |

I purchased this mixer for my live electronic music rig. I needed a mixer with two aux sends and a small footprint. My live electronic rig has to fit entirely on a 2 X 4 table and I was having a hard time finding something with all the channels and features I needed that would fit. This mixer is classic Mackie. Clean, lots of headroom and solidly built. Signal path and routing options are unheard of in a package this small. Its very flexible and doesnt have anything I dont need (USB interface, effects). I did a lot of research before buying this mixer and it definitely checks all the boxes. 5 |

I've had the Partybox 110 for almost 2 years now. I use it to play music and as a speaker for an electronic drum set. In both instances, the speaker performs wonderfully. I'm not going to go into the features as they are listed on the site, but this speaker does a good job translating the audio from an electronic drum kit; the highs come through clean and the lows are no problem, as well. I've used this for daily music via bluetooth as well as small parties. I don't think I've ever had to crank the volume to max. The option bass settings via the top button are much appreciated. I like the fact that you can turn of the lights, too. It holds a charge well and doesn't take long to get back to full battery. My father bought one for himself after he saw mine in use. 5 |

I guess Hive is and will mostly be used in Trance music productions, but its absolutely stellar sound quality would be a waste if not used in most of any other genres of electronic or electronic-acoustic music productions as well. I highly recommend it! 5 |

Today's students live by their electronic devices. Terms papers, contacts, music, pictures are all kept on their laptops. Have had my daughter's laptop repaired enough that the charges exceeded the purchase of a new one. Also, Apple's turn-around time is excellent. Do yourself a favor. 5 |
