I used the Polsen M85-B to track some vocals in my home studio, with great results, but where this microphone shines is in a live performance. The build quality is rugged and I believe it would be strong enough to see some rough use. Vocals are crisp and clear. XLR perfect for most setups. I mainly track vocals and that 4K magic is worth the price of admission. Conversion quality is no different than the Apollo so I love having this in its place. It's super versatile, two headphone outs, enough outputs on the back to choose from and midi ins and outs for $299, are you kidding me? It also comes with killer plug ins! 5 |
