I got this to record scratch tracks for video edits, and it was perfect for that in price and function.

Using this with a digital mixer. Fast enough to record 24 tracks with 24-bit resolution.

The dual mono feature is great. I can record the same signal to 2 different tracks and set the levels independently ? the idea being to set a second track lower than the first incase something overmodulates.

Using this drive on a Shogun 7 to record 4 video ISO tracks. It's one of the best for this purpose. Other drives can't compete.

At first I thought I was just fine listening to Tidal using my phones straight to the speakers, but the pause between tracks bothered me especially when listening to a continuous record like Dark Side of the Moon. Now I can hear the whole record without pauses, it plays straight through nice and smooth and has a wonderful sounding DAC that goes straight to my powered speakers using RCA cables. I bought a separate tablet to control it that way guests can have fun playing their selections and I don't have to hand over my phone.

This is a fine recorder. It outdoes the H4n with attachments and its ability to record to 6 tracks at once. It comes with a plastic case that should last awhile.

I have used this on numerous occasions now and it has captured tremendous quality audio. I really like that it can record safety tracks as well for peaking purposes. Definitely a great quality piece of equipment.

So my band - Chimera - (https://open.spotify.com/artist/5lkJIQnKpJYciREbqQp6Jj) bought this Zoom recorder to record our rehearsals and live shows to then be able to mix and sweeten in Apple Logic down the road. It is working great! We record 8 tracks live into the Zoom on SD card and then I pop it out, into my Mac Studio and the tracks are right there to import into Logic. A little re-naming before importing and everything works perfectly. Still need to tweek some of the settings for recording specific instruments (bass) but overall - great right out of the box. Additionally, the customer service from B&H - as always - was superb. I had a few questions about the interface to my Mac Studio and other audio interface hardware, and the B&H folks showed me how I can turn the 12 tracks I have with the Zoom into 20 tracks with my other hardware. It would have taken me hours (if not longer) to figure that out. Thanks B&H.
