Intel 530 Series 120Gb 2.5 Solid State Drive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a Solid State Drive with faster speed. The Kingston A400 - 120GB Solid State Drive Is much faster than the standard SSD that came in my gaming computer. I feel like the drive really improves the speed and quality of my computer. I would completely recommend the Kingston A400 120GB Solid State Drive to anyone that is looking to improve the quality of their SSD.

excellent little solid state drive - and powerful

I use this with an Intel SSDSA2M040G2GC 2.5" SSD, for a 40GB travel drive. The SSD powers through the USB directly. The cable is 19" end-to-end when plugged in, which is a little longer than many of the other adapters out there. It's long enough to do the job, reaching around various devices to the rear panel; for example, a wall monitor where the space is cramped; or side-by-side USB devices on a PC.

I used this drive to clone a laptop hard drive to a solid state drive. Worked well.

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it!

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on.
