Intel Compute Stick Boot Laptop

I purchased this RAM stick to upgrade my laptop, and after adding it to my slot I boot up my machine and it registered without issue. I will be purchasing again to reach 16gb of RAM in the near future!

It was hard to get a direct answer about how to get a 4th monitor to work on an intel based laptop. The problem is that the Intel CPU only allows 3 displays, even if you have a dedicated GPU in the laptop because the GPU isn't a full gpu, but just an extra chip that runs through the Intel CPU. Since it runs through the intel CPU, it is limited by the same 3 display output as the CPU. This allows you to run more than 3 displays on a single laptop.

I installed this in my new Dell XPS8900 as an Intel cache and it has made a dramatic difference. After several cycles, boot up is way faster than before. PCmark7 went from 3847 to 5712. The 1TB rotating disk sequential 4k read speed increased by a factor of 14. Installation was easy as the Intel Rapid Storage Technology software came installed in the Dell.

Installed it in the Intel NUC unit. Works well and no issues with boot or compatibility. Intel NUC 10 BXNUC10i5FNKN1

Added this 8Gb stick to my new Dell 3671 I5 intel 2666 desktop. No problems or conflicts. Went from 1 stick dell 8mb to 2 sticks that are compatible. Now I have 16GB 's of Ram and a smile on my face!

I had decided a while back to upgrade memory to 64GB. Was looking through DDR4 memory and came across this Patriot Viper memory @ $119.00. I remember 30 years ago when 64MB would have cost this much or more! I used Patriot memory years ago and it was good (plus Patriot is a US based company so support domestic tech companies). The memory arrived today. The heatsink caused a bit of a tight fit on my MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk board. The first stick went into the mandatory first slot with no problem, but for some reason the second was hard to seat properly. The time I tried to boot I got a memory error light. Took out 2nd stick and it booted up fine. Re-seated the 2nd stick...still no boot. Removed it and computer booted with the first stick only. Did this four different times with same result, but finally on the fifth try I could feel the stick seat properly and flashlight exam showed everything seated. Computer booted fine this time and shows the full 64GB and the proper timings. Since the case was dark, I suspect the problem seating it was primarily my fault. Just wanted to let people know it may be a tight fit and if your computer doesn't boot, be sure to try reseating the seats one at a time before thinking you got a bad memory kit. Very nice looking RAM, a bit taller than the Corsair Vengence low profile sticks I've used for a long time but no problem next to my Noctua cooler. Great job Patriot!

Bought this to upgrade my old laptop. Now, it only takes 14 sec to boot.

Snapdragon is a quick processor, more than Intel and AMD for a laptop. This one has some great features that work together with Windows. I like the cam login. The PC is in reduced power the second you leave, then starts right up as soon as you sit down. There is also more security with Snapdragon. Copilot+ gets better results than the desktop version. The only problem was an old 2014 Canon laser printer would not install. Three other new printers installed in a minute.

I am using these in a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop with an Intel 12900H. They work great. While the Lenovo documentation specifies 32GB max ram, I'm using 64GB with no problems.
