Purchased this motherboard as the backbone of a new gaming rig. populated with an Intel i7-14700KF, 64GB of Corsair Dominator RAM, 4TB of Samsung M.2 storage and topped with an ASUS RTX 4070Ti graphics board. build went quickly and booted up successfully first time. This has been the result with all of the ASUS M/Bs that I have purchased for my gaming, engineering design and simulation and business applications. I installed this in a new computer I built with a Intel i7 2600 processor and 16 GB Corsair Vengance memory with a XFX HD 5770 video card and it makes for a very fast computer for editing very large video files and Raw images. This hard drive is fast and very quiet. Great drive! 5 |

I upgraded from an i7 hex-core year 2016 processor to this one. This new one made a big difference in performance of compiling times for both software and video editing. My computer has that whole new feel to it performance wise. I expect to continue using this one for at least the next four years - worth every penny of the investment. This processor boasts 10 cores (20 with hyperthreading turned on). Clocks in at 2.81 GHz (I don't overclock - I want reliability) 640kb L1, 2.5mb L2, and 20mb L3 caches. Overall I am very satisfied - almost two months of use (I keep my computer running 24/7 for various home automation tasks) and no hints of problems. I use the stock cooler fan that came with it - and the average core temperature stays between 30-40 degrees Celsius, and peaks to about 80 when running heavy processing applications. 5 |
