Intel Optane Pc Part Picker

Able to decode data off a very quarrelsome Intel Optane SSD for data recovery after laptop failed, when all my web searching indicated an external USB drive couldn't do it! High throughput. 5 |

First time building my own PC, I used this case with PCpart picker and it fits everything perfectly. It's got a wonderful little back panel section to run wires through a non-visible section of the case that helps make everything inside look nice and pretty. Seems super durable, all the sensitive (glass and plastic) surfaces come with plastic on them to protect them while shipping. Super solid feeling and honestly just feels like a high quality case. Steal of a deal! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the Samsung 980 Pro 2TB drive in a tiny Intel NUC PC with the Intel i5 12400 processor. What a revelation - I expected speed, but the SSD let me do file functions instantly. Everything was extremely snappy including opening Canon CR3 RAW files in Photoshop and importing them into Lightroom CC. I'll soon build a tower Windows PC and will choose the Samsung 980 Pro again. 5 |

The Intel NUCs hit in (almost) every way for a mini PC. If you can use a small but powerful machine, definitely consider one of these. Here at B&H I got the barebones i3 kit (without the drive or any memory) and installed MS Windows, memory, and the drive myself. Two tips for self-installers based on the other reviews: 1) Pressing the power button for three but *not* four seconds takes you to a menu allowing you to set options like boot order, make sure LAN is turned on, etc. 2) If installing Windows 11, you might only need to download the wireless driver to a USB and run the driver installer from there after Windows install to get connectivity. Afterwards, Windows Update will help you take care of the rest of the drivers, BIOS updates, etc. 5 |

Microsoft's PC Health Check informed me that my 6-year old PC with an Intel I7 was not able to upgrade to Windows 11 for a number of hardware related reasons. I look at similarly configured PCs as to what I had and a new system would run well over $2K. I bought this bundle, 32GB of memory and a 1TB NVME SSD for about $750. Everything was very simple to install, and if you have any questions, there are loads of Youtube videos showing how to install this combo. The motherboard recognized the CPU without needing to flash the BIOS and in less than an hour I pretty much had a brand new system, much faster than my old one, for 1/3 the price. Total score. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bundle. 5 |

Since the mid 1970's we have built and maintained PC's and Servers. We are a Boutique System builder and build in small quantities. We need quantity components because all of our Servers and Workstations are warranted for 4 years. Started using SSD's when Intel first introduced them but switched to Samsung after we were having early Intel SSD failures. Samsung has been terrific with a very low failure rate and virtually zero after the first 30 day infant mortality period. 5 |

I just built a new PC with the Gen 12 intel I9 Processor and all I can say is wow, the CPU is a steal for 600 dollars and beats just about anything from AMD at the moment. I have it built together with 128gigs of DDR4 4400 Memory, Z690 Motherboard (Biostar GTA) and 6900 XT Ultra Graphics Card. Get it, you will love it. 5 |

I install this at a new custom build PC with Intel i5 13th Generation mounted inside an Asus TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI D4 with 32MB Memory and at normal settings ( no over clocking) the Drive reads 6778 MBs and Writes 3748 MBs 5 |
