Intel Quiet System Technology Gigabyte

I built my z690 atx with an Intel 12900k system with this case. I do not regret it. The case is quiet and allows for easy access to all the peripherals and easy cable management. I really enjoyed the installation. The case made it very easy.

Running in a Mini ITX case, with a Gigabyte Z97 Mobo, and a Pentium G3258 Intel Processor- OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. It starts up in under 10 seconds (power button to desktop) and hasn't had any issues. I can't speak to longevity of the SSD, but it has been great so far!

Quiet. Cool. Extremely fast. Having upgraded from a Gigabyte WaterForce 2080, the ROG 4080 is much quieter and runs 10 -20C cooler. I didn't realize how much of the heat in my office was coming from the water-cooled 2080. Although the 4080 was a bit pricey for a simple color change, I find it well worth the multi year wait. I highly recommend.

- New 7 nm process technology, finally fast cores like Intel, with 8 of them, and as many as 16. Now it makes no sense to make a clear division that they say Ryzen is only for work and play better on Intel. - In heavy tasks such as rendering, video editing, processing many photos in raw format, encoding 4K video in Hevc format - at least 2 times faster than my previous Intel i7 6700. Also ahead of i9 9700k, and in some places trying to catch up with i9 9900k, which in retail it is much more expensive. - It fits without problems on motherboards of previous generations with socket AM4, but it is recommended to pay attention to the quality of the processor power subsystem and update the BIOS before installing this processor, since it most likely will not start on old firmware.

The intel fan that comes in the box is quiet and effective. Love the processor - speedy and smooth.

Hooked it up to an Intel Mac Mini and was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is compared to our old LTO-5. The Mac Mini has 10GbE and the two LTFS tapes I've created so far from our NAS have been very fast. One was created with the included mLogic app (the name escapes me at the moment) and the other with MyLTO.

When I build a new computer it's done with the best components my budget will support. Mostly because I upgrade my system over time to extend it's viability. This time around the budget resulted in a top notch system. High end MB, Intel I9 processor, lots of fast memory, and, of course, an RTX 4090 graphics card. Gigabyte has become my go to computer hardware vendor. Their products are virtually always bulletproof. The RTX Master 4090 is no exception. This video card more than delivers the expected performance. The cooling on the card is outstanding and negates the need for water works, even when overclocking. Benchmark software temperatures have been well within recommended limits; even cool. Do note that this card is a BEAST and takes up a lot of room, so measure your case and other expansion cards carefully! Oh, and plan to feed it properly; a 1200 watt power supply was my choice. Do the above and you will find the Gigabyte GeForce RTX Master to be the cherry on top of your new computer build.

Added this to my Gigabyte A5 X1 which came with a 512GB SSD. It was not big enough alone. I threw this into the secondary slot, cloned the system drive over to the new one and booted from it. No problems at all. System is purring. I'm ready to wipe the original system drive so I can now use it as secondary storage. Great purchase for me, could be for you as well.

My spouse, who often needs assistance with technology, understood the system in less than 2 minutes. That says it all.
