Internet Hub Box

Sabrent 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub just worked right out of the box.

Not sure why these aren't just in the box with the hub I purchased. I mounted the system under my desk and this best way to keep them connected.

We have Mediacom internet and this modem is way better than the hideous box Mediacom gives you. I mean, the service from Mediacom is still terrible, but at least when it's down we can stare at a much better looking box!

This box is great! With 8 bays I have the flexibility needed for expansion. I added 16GB of RAM and a 10Gbe NIC to extend its capabilities. To get full speeds between Synology servers I disconnected the 1Gbps LANs and just used the 10Gbe NIC. Connected to a 2.5Gbps hub, I get speeds limited by the hub at 250-350GB/s. I use it as a backup to an RS3618XS.

I have all good things to say except one and it makes me angry every time it happens. The hub box has a power switch but whenever you plug in the light it turns on automatically. I'd prefer to hit the power otherwise I am constantly blinding my talent and occasionally even myself.

Took it out of the box and plug it into my iMac, plugged my keyboard in one hub and a flash drive in another hub.  Two out of four hubs used and my computer works perfect.

I am very happy with this hub. The box it came in was surprisingly heavy, with most of the weight being the power supply. I am using this with my new MBP M3Max and the speeds are fantastic.

I did not know such a thing existed before coming across it during an internet search. I have hundreds of old slides and wanted to get the best ones scanned.. but had put off the task for years because of the difficulty of sorting them. This box made it easy since you can look at 40 slides at a time. the lightbox is foldable for storage, and I did have some trouble getting the sides of the box to stay fully upright as the connection with the back wasn't strong enough to hold them in place. I solved that by stringing some picture wire from one side to the other, using holes already in the metal, and pulling it taut. Easy enough to do, and to reproduce if and when I need the slide sorter again.

I searched all over the internet for this product and B&H was one of the vendors that was listed as in stock. All the other big box vendors didn't have it plus they were more expensive. I was able to purchase it from B&H at a good price and their shipping was fast and reliable. The product arrived as stated and it was easy to install, I'd definitely use B&H again if and when the time arises.
