Internet Routing Instability

The thing pad has been everything that has been advertised to be. When bringing over my applications from my Microsoft surface it was some instability and crashes. After about three days there’s been no issues. I’ve been doing a lot of work with the Adobe applications which are very responsive. I’ve also been using online video conferencing which has been very clear display, and no issues. This has been a great upgrade from my old laptop.

In our club, we need dimmable LED can lights for dining, but the performance of the available lamps does not have a low enough light output without instability. Adding one f-stop of ND filter works great to lower the ambient light of the dining room, but is still bright enough when set to maximum so that the cleaning staff can do a good job.

This thing is built to be rock-solid stable, and is perfect for macro work at high magnifications where any any instability spells disaster. You can extend the legs outward and get really low. Expensive, but you get what you pay for and this will give a lifetime of service, after which you'll pass it on to your children. Like all RRS gear, every aspect of the build: materials, design, fit and finish is top rate.

I tried to build a teleprompter myself, and even though I was successful and it worked, it was not durable at all. I even ended up ruining a camera due to it's instability. So, to find this teleprompter at such an affordable price, I was elated. When I received it, I was even more impressed with how solidly it's built.

Purchased the Adobe Creative Cloud plan to replace Elements 2020. Due to the instability of Elements and age of LR V5.0 standalone. I was faced with possible replacement of elements yearly. Compared to the subscription which is upgraded when problems arise. After running LR/wPhotoshop I noticed that the instability problems with running elements alone ceased. Currently 95% of my workflow is accomplished using LR. It's nice to have a full blown version of photoshop at my disposal. My current computer configuration Windows 10/w 8 meg ram. Through experimentation system runs fine using 24 meg files, slows with 32 meg files, and just about freezes with files greater than 50meg . I would highly recommend increasing ram if your processing FF= 50 or MF. In conclusion I rate this 5 stars for LR by itself.

I use it primarily for Photoshop CS5. I got tired of the instability of Windows, including Win7. Things Great: Stability, ease of adding internal hardware. I added RAM (48GB) and a pair of 2TB hard drives for data only, and it was QUICK & EASY! Things Not So Great: Haven't found any yet.
