Internet Search Website

I knew what I wanted. I went to the website and did a search to find it. I ordered it, and within a few days it was here. Wotks perfectly.

I did not know such a thing existed before coming across it during an internet search. I have hundreds of old slides and wanted to get the best ones scanned.. but had put off the task for years because of the difficulty of sorting them. This box made it easy since you can look at 40 slides at a time. the lightbox is foldable for storage, and I did have some trouble getting the sides of the box to stay fully upright as the connection with the back wasn't strong enough to hold them in place. I solved that by stringing some picture wire from one side to the other, using holes already in the metal, and pulling it taut. Easy enough to do, and to reproduce if and when I need the slide sorter again.

My old filter wallet was worn out and I needed a new one. I went onto B&H's website to search for a new one. Most of what I saw was the same type of folding wallet with pockets made of elastic webbing to hold the filters in place. Then I saw this one from B+W...a top name in filters. While it is similar in the wallet design the pockets are different. They have what I would call a clear mylar-type material which keeps dust and loose dirt off the filters, something which the web pockets did not do. So far, I'm loving it!

The Nikon, center pinch lens cap is far better than the off-brands. As always reliable search and purchase from B&H website.
