I’ve had it for about a week already and I’m pretty satisfied with it so far. My internet provider is Altice/Optimum; gave them a ring and provided the modems MAC address and had them put it on my account with zero issues. It literally took like 5 mins to do. 5 |

I have optimum and in my area there is no CAT wiring or fiber wiring, so my internet is set up through COAX which in networking is the slowest wiring of the 3. So I’ve had many many problems with Optimum’s stock router/modem and Wi-Fi extenders. Being that my wife and I work from home it’s imperative that we have stable connection which we weren’t getting. Once i changed to a mesh Wi-Fi system with Netgear’s standalone modem and added some mesh Wi-Fi routers, i am getting great speeds and haven’t really had any problem since. Would definitely recommend this modem! 5 |
