Advanced Amateur lens was purchased mainly for product pictures to be used in internet websites. Image quality exceeded my expectations. Tack sharp and able to obtain a very shallow depth of field.Great Bokeh. Build quality seems solid for a lens in this price range. I have the same issue of focus seeking in macro but I would not fault the lens for this. When I use under high light conditions it seems to lock right on. Probably caused by smaller C size of the image sensor in my Cannon 7d. Not really a big deal I just pop it into manual or use a reflector to increase the light. I would recommend it to my friends. 5 |
