If you search the internet, you will find a Polish web site that tested many different brands of UV filters for UV absorption using a spectrophotometer, as well as resistance to flare/ghosting, quality of construction, and ease of cleaning. The Hoya HMC filters came out on top, ahead of some far more expensive German filters. Digital cameras don't need UV filtration, but film users such as myself still need it. I prefer the skylight to plain UV filters as the extra bit of warming takes off the edge of some films such as Kodak Ektar 100 which I feel renders a bit too blue, especially in the shadows. These filters don't noticably ghost or flare at night, and they are easy to clean. The price is also very reasonable. 5 |

The webcam was easy to install and to set up. It works very well with Skype, Zoom and Windows browsers. 5 |

I'm a two time Surface Pro user, and have always loved the design. My last Surface Pro 5 was good, but it was running out of bandwidth for my needs (Office, Home Cameras, Zoom, Slack, multiple browsers open at once, and streaming tv). I also have two 34 samsung monitors, so the there is a lot of demand on the video for running all these applications. I decided to upgrade, and I originally purchased a Surface Pro X, which was a beautiful tablet. I got nearly every application I needed to work with Emulator, but the performance was shaky at best. I exchanged it for the Surface Pro 7 (16 GB RAM, 512 GB HD). Long story short, this thing BLAZES!! I'm usually running the cameras, office, browsers, Slack and Zoom all at the same time. No problems or performance lags with this one. One word of caution is the fan will kick on pretty high at times depending on how much strain you put on it (gets very hot unlike the Surface Pro X, but that's the cost you pay for performance). If you are looking for a machine that is sleek and powerful, this is the one for you. Thank you B&H for working with me on the exchange - absolutely incredible customer service (made it easy, which is the name of the game). 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor as a primary monitor for gaming and scrolling thru browsers as is very smooth with its 165hz panel and 1ms response time, and the smoothness compare to a 60hz monitor or even a 120hz monitor is very noticeable and satisfying to look at, 165hz is the sweetspot in gaming for me. 5 |

This is my go to device for all things audio, having my music separate from games and browsers makes it super easy to adjust on the fly both on and off stream! Can't go back to the default windows mixer 5 |

Apple boxes are the perfect stable platform for switching heights when shooting- I took this one to nyc comic con so I could both shoot from a higher vantage & get up high to see the crowd- excellent tool for very little money 5 |

I walked into a local camera store looking to only buy a battery for my film camera. As a photographer, I’m sure many such as myself have more than one camera bag for different occasions. In the store I couldn’t help myself but to check out the bag section. Since Comic-Con is just around the corner, I will be having my camera bag with me along with my camera gear inside. Remembering during last years Comic-Con event, my body took a little toll with the weight. It was a messenger style bag Retrospective 7 by Think Tank. Realizing it wouldn’t be a bag I would carry around with me all day, only on days when I know I would put it down while working but the sales man at the store said the answer to it would be a sling bag and pointed me to the MindShift Photo Cross. After trying it, I realized it was the bag I need so I wouldn’t have to go through the discomfort again. I’m a fan of Think Tank bags so I checked out the Turnstyle model. As a nitpicker, I didn’t like how the Turnstyle opened and more importantly, it didn’t have a pocket for a water bottle which I know I’ll need. With the MindShift Photo Cross, the main compartment opens widely for easy access and the side pocket for a water bottle is pretty large since I drink a lot of water. Though this bag is ideally for outdoors like hiking and would look kinda off when just wearing jeans with a T-shirt and a pair of Vans shoes, but this bag meets the functionality and protection I need in a camera bag and if ever I'll go hiking, the MindShift Photo Cross would be perfect. Just when I thought I was done buying camera bags, I didn’t know I needed a sling bag. I purchased the Photo Cross 13 to fit my ideal camera setup essentials and though I know I won’t be using the laptop pocket, at least I know I have that option. 5 |

I'm a standup comic in NYC and I needed something that could hold my phone or camera to record myself performing no matter what surface I was placing it on. This tripod is strong and grippy and holds my phone or my mirrorless camera like a champ, the rubber on the legs means it won't slip if you wrap the legs around a pole or fence. If you need your camera leveled perfectly this may not be the right tripod for you. However if you will be setting up your camera in a wide variety of situations this does the trick. 5 |
