Iogear Bluetooth Mini Adapter 4.0 Software

Mini USB Bluetooth® 4.0 Adapter is a fantastic product! Better working range than other Bluetooth receivers/transmitters. Works great with Sony MDR-10R after checking ALL of the configuration for USBBT1EDR4. You MUST install ONLY the last version of the CSR Harmony software; if you have an older version installed, you MUST uninstall the older version first. The new version unfortunately does not include drivers for all of the older transmitters and you can't have more than one version installed at the same time. I highly recommend this product.

I bought Waves NX Head Tracker to use it with Logic Pro X in a Mac Pro Mid 2010 OS El Capitan and Bluetooth 2.1 I needed Bluetooth 4.0, so I bought this StarTech adapter. Plugged into my computer, but it was not recognized as BT 4.0. Then I downloaded Hardware_IO_Tools_for_Xcode_7.3.dmg, and installed Bluetooth Explorer in the Applications folder. Opened it, Tools menu and choose HCI Controller Selector, I clicked at the arrows and selected Broadcom Corp and clicked Activate. Done My computer recognized the StarTech adapter as Bluetooth 4, and I was able to use my excellent Waves NX Head Tracker.

I have never had problems with my bluetooth, I got full blue tooth connection throughout my house even with my little Soundpeats q30 plus. This wifi adapter is faster than our ethernet, which makes 0 sense but even with a cat 5 cable, I get around 200mbps while I get around 130 with the ethernet. It really is hassle-less. So if you have a spare PCI-E slot, this is a really good budget wifi adapter. (Also you don't need an optical drive for the software disc, just go to the website on the disk or look up the software for the adapter and port it onto your pc with a USB. Though, my computer didn't even need the software)

Use MS drivers not those provided and this will be a great bluetooth adapter. The software provided is fraught with many problems. Do not load their software. It won't work properly and be limited in speed. Their tech support does not help any either if you have software difficulties. Use their SW at your own risk.

) I'm on a newer mac mini (no camera). I plugged in the IOGEAR with a SONY NX-70 camcorder set to 1080 60, and it worked immediately in Zoom and OBS. I'm using a Scarlett 2i4 interface for audio. It feels like it's running at 30- not 60. I would not call this broadcast quality, but I'm thrilled there is a picture that is a lot better than a web cam, and I've not yet seen massive frame dropping. An apple problem is that FACETIME does NOT recognize this device. (@#%$&!!!) This is the first of 2 of these type things I've ordered to arrive, so I will compare them. My ATEN (BH #ATUC3020) is back-ordered.

Software is wonky but once you connect it’s the best sound for Bluetooth headphones

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.

I was tired of having to use the mini to PC and PC to mini adapter when connecting my Pocket Wizards to my ABs. The 3' Mini Male to Mini Male cables by Hosa are the perfect replacement. The 3' length gives plenty of distance between the Pocket Wizards and the strobes so there is no EMF interference that may cause a misfire. I have used the cables on several shoots (that have lasted over 10 hours) and have had no issues. I no longer have to worry about losing those small Pocket Wizard adapters.

Connected a XA-15 to an sdi-hdmi adapter. Adapter to ATEM mini. So far so good, 3 months later.
