Iogear Usb Booster Extension Cable

Connecting an Iogear 2 port KVM Switch with a Plugable USB Sharing Switch.  The two sit right next to each other, so this 6 inch cable is just right.  Be warned that a 6 cable is VERY short!

This is my third IOGEAR KVM (I started with a more basic 4-port unit several years ago, and have upgraded twice as my PC configurations have changed). I bought this one principally for the DVI monitor support; one added bonus is that the volume softkeys on my keyboard work with this model where they didn't with an older one. I haven't made use of the two shared USB ports, but everything else works great. My only caveat is that the provided cables don't have a lot of separation between the monitor and USB connections (the main body of the cable is a single line that splits into the component plugs at each end). The cables are also pretty stiff, so for one of my PCs the USB plug was being tugged on and the connection would sometimes drop. I worked around this by adding a 6-inch USB extension, and everything is fine now. The cable is probably good for most PCs, and only affected one of the units in my set-up.

I purchased this USB 2 booster cable a couple of weeks ago. Am using it to supply a hub which has a couple of printers plugged into it. It has worked perfectly so far. I will probably order another one on my next purchase as the info on the packaging states that one can put tow or three together. Price is very good. I'm very pleased with it.

This USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable comes as two 16' cables NOT one 32 cable. ......I hooked the two cables together connected my Nikon D200 to my laptop and it worked perfect. A 15MB photo downloaded in two seconds. As it turns out I'm glade it comes as a two cables.

This is a high quality USB C extension cable. Would be nice if it was available in other length as well.

I use this with an Iogear 2 port usb automatic printer switch. I have 2 of these 6 inch cables that go out of the printer switch, one goes to a 7 port USB hub for a Mac Pro & the other to a 4 port usb hub for a Windows PC. I only needed short cables so they work perfect for me.

Works as expected. You definitely need a signal booster when using a cable this long.
