Ion Audio Cassette Adapter Bluetooth Reviews

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little Bluetooth adapter to connect to my audio system. Although my receiver has built-in Bluetooth, it is very finicky to connect to. This unit solved the problem. I like that it has an optical cable connector to make the connection to my receiver.

The Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter works right out of the box. It comes with a power supply , a mini-stereo to RCA cord. In my case I connected to the Aux-Input on an old Sony receiver. I paired it to my iPhone 4s and my macbook pro with no trouble. My daughter's macbook pro paired up right away but she tried to stream her iTunes and it would not go. However, her Spotify went fine. The range seemed acceptable. There were some artifacts (like digital hiccups) but I am not sure it was the device or the laptop.

I bought the Pyle cassette player, about a wall plug adapter. 40. It appears to be the same design as the GGI Gear player. I played 6 tapes, then it stopped sorking. Tried using it with a wall power adapter. No go. This player is junk. Disappointing that B&H promotes it with online advertising.

Receiver is a great fit for both older Audio Components and most-modern ones, as well. I have my Turntable, Cassette Player, Disc Player--all plugged into the Receive and it sounds great with my older Speakers. Additionally, with iPod and Bluetooth Inputs, it's as modern as today.

I use this cable to record audio from my computer to cassette tape. This cable feels substantial like a piece of professional recording equipment. No cons that I can see.

I just got the Pyle Pro so I could save some recordings by my old local Band. I knew the Tape Material was going to break down and needed to convert it a.s.a.p. I did extensive research and came across the Pyle Pro Dual Cassette Deck with USB to convert the Audio to MP3. The results were better then expected and amazingly had no Cassette Hiss. Only thing I suggest is preload Audacity on a Windows PC, Then hookup the USB Cable and Power on the Cassette Deck. I used the Left Deck launched the Audacity Software and Choose for Audio In the USB Device, I did a test and adjusted the the Level on the back of the unit so it barely clipped and adjusted Audacity's recording level and after a few test got the level perfect. It takes some trial and error but results are amazing. After Recording the Audio in Audacity I found a tutorial on youtube on splitting the tracks and marking them for export save as Mp3 and choose 320kbps. Once you learn the procedure you can preserve your Audio and enjoy your tunes or Recordings in Digital format on Mp3 Players or convert to CD. This product is worth getting if you want to save your treasured Audio.

Just amazing!! This is an exceptionally high quality cassette player, made from milled aluminum, and built to tight tolerance. Features? This is as barebones of a cassette player as you can get. No recording ability, no bass boost, no Dolby. What do you get though? Excellent battery life, USB-C charging, and GREAT audio quality. It's everything you need, and nothing you don't. How's the audio quality? FANTASTIC. As good as a real vintage Walkman that's in perfect condition, and far better than any other new portable cassette player being made today, far better than the We Are Rewind player. There's minimal motor noise, basically no WOW, and the playback speed is near perfect, no pitch shifting here! Is this really portable? It is a large tape player, as big as some of the earliest Walkman's. I'm able to use it in my back pocket without issue, but your mileage may vary. The player has no issue with playback while walking and hiking, and it works just as well sitting on your desk, as it does sideways in your pocket. It exceeds my own expectations in that regard. What's the catch? The only downsides to purchasing this over other alternatives, is how few features there are. There's no USB or Bluetooth audio, you MUST use the 3.5mm output. There's no recording ability. There's no support for Dolby noise reduction. There's no bass boost features. If you care about any of that (I personally don't!), then you're better off with a Sony WM-EX1 or WM-EX910. Nitpicks? I've already got some scratches in the aluminum case from abusing it (I am not gentle with it!), and rewinding is a bit slow. As for me? I'm in love, this is basically the perfect cassette player.

With this and a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter (Pearstone best, Hosa is ok too) I have my Ion Instasound speakers paired with our Medeli 61 key digital Piano! Love it!
