I bought this lens to shoot a concert at The Whiskey A Go Go. I was running around all over the venue. This was the perfect lens to get around ion the floor with the crowd, shoot from the sides of the stage or from the balcony. 35mm proved to right amount of wide angle for my needs and anything up to 150 worked well from further back. It was quite versatile. Upon reviewing the pictures they look sharp as my GM lenses. In this situation, I had no flare issues either. I would recommend this lens for video too. I was using an A7R4a camera body with this lens at full resolution.
