[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best blend of old school vinyl and new tech wireless. I love it. I haven't had a record player since my husband's player broke about 20 years ago. Technology has evolved so much since then. This record player is light and sleek looking. The set up is simple and takes about 10 minutes. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. It's a simple record player, nothing complicated about the buttons or settings - almost a minimalist type of player. You can pair up to 8 devices to the player and it will automatically find and link to your devices when you put the record player into bluetooth pairing mode. So far we have paired the player to 3 sets of wireless speakers and it worked flawlessly. We also paired it with wires to our living room speakers to test out the sound. It was simply amazing. When this player reaches the end of an album, the stylus automatically goes back to the home position and it turns off. That is so great!! No more spinning records and wearing down the needle. It's a simple press of a button to play and a button to stop it. The simplicity is wonderful. And just because it's simple, don't let it fool you - the sound and quality are excellent. When I played our first album on here, we sat back to enjoy the awesome sound with the ever so subtle hiss of the needle on the vinyl. I loved it. Nothing beats playing a record - not MP3s, not CDs, nothing. I have about 500 records to go through and am are stoked to be able to rip the songs from the records to MP3s to play on our phones and in the car. This is an amazing function and so easily done from this record player. I had no idea there was such a thing as a wireless record player until now. I am bringing this Sony record player and my portable speakers to my friend's house this weekend. It will blow them away the way it did me. Well done Sony!

I like the retro style. The manual vinyl record player has a more romantic flavor. The whole is great. We should have it.

I bought this to update an old record player so that I could get some use out of my old vinyl records. I also bought a speaker to use with it, and I couldn't be happier!

I decided to start a vinyl record collection and I needed a record player. After looking at some reviews I chose this one. I had to put it together but it was simple. I’m not tech savvy at all so if I can do it, so can you. I’m currently listening to my fourth album. I love it! I would highly recommend this particular record player if you want an old school feel with some new technology mixed in. It has Bluetooth technology and an option to rip a copy of the album. You won’t be disappointed.

Look, my wife got me this as a birthday gift, USPS stole my vinyl player, and now I have to buy a replacement and have USPS reimburse me -- it should be telling that I'm buying the same one again. But, anyway, it's a good vinyl player. Comes built-in with a decent cartridge, proper adjustable-weight arm, the automatic arm is light years better than my placement, rubber mat and feet, and belt-drive for vibration reduction -- it's all great. I can't imagine you can get much better without dropping a few dimes into it. Some people might say, but what about all the features? It only has a built-in preamp and no usb, what about that? Well, having a preamp built into the vinyl player could potentially have magnetic issues (arguably), but having a separate amp also let's you have more customization options with respect to speakers (ie. amperage) or those unnecessary digital features. With respect to usb, if you're getting a vinyl player to use USB, do yourself a favor and just get a Tidal subscription and forget vinyl, it'll probably be better quality as you'll lose information in your little vinyl setup with analog-to-digital conversions. Anyway, great player with all of the basic principles a new enthusiast is bound to love at a good price. (Was even better in that sale a year ago, but you never know when another sale will happen!)

I am using this phono preamp to record my vinyl collection and it does an amazing job. I have used it with a couple of audio recording programs and being able to adjust the Gain level on the unit ensures consistent recordings. The AC adaptor is not included, but you don't need one. It will power on sufficiently through the USB cable you use for recording. I also purchased that on B&H with excellent results: Comprehensive USB 2.0 A Male To B Male Cable - 3'. I recommend this product, it makes recording vinyl a breeze.
