This switch makes it easy to add Ethernet ports to your home network, you just need to run an Ethernet cable from your router to the switch, then reboot your system to make sure the IP addresses are assigned and you can still “see” all of your devices. I had a NAS drive that was assigned a new IP address after the install, and rebooting the pc helped fix the access issue. I was able connect another pc as well as another device to my network very quickly, all connected at 1GB/s.

I really like the Synology NAS! Setup was easy, I just watched a YouTube video and I was set. It appeared on my home network and I was able to begin copying files to it right away. Pro tip: Assign an IP address to the MAC address in your home router so it has the same IP address for the rest of its life.

I have a home office and my assistant was able to link to the network in a matter of seconds. It has been working great for us!

It works well and is easy to setup. I just have photo backup for now, but going to be adding Plex and Home Assistant which both seem a little more complex, but manageable.

After successfully using the Kasa 6 port HS-300 for a year, I decided to try these EP25 Smart Plugs. I want all of my smart plugs to have the energy/power monitoring feature. I am very happy that the EP25 plugs can work simultaneously with the Kasa app, the Apple Home app and also with Home Assistant! When I turn an EP25 on or off in any of those 3 controllers, the change is reflected in all 3 controllers in less than 1 second. The Apple Home app is the simplest way for non-tech people in my family to control these smart plugs. Kasa app is also very easy to use and provides power information. The Home Assistant is very powerful and customizeable and provides an incredible amount of information about these devices which is useful for people who really want to learn the finer points of home automation functions. I expect to buy more of these EP25 smart plugs. I have owned various TP-Link devices during the past 20 years and found them to be reliable, affordable and well designed. These EP25 devices live up to my expectations.

This is a wonderful addition to our home. The sound is great. Quality is also superb. We had a challenge trying to set it up, but the assistant on phone was great. Patient. Kind. He had to get into our tv system to find the challenge and it was smooth sailing from there!

I setup my smart home relying on Google Assistant. I understand that Sonos has this capability ready. In fact I trust that using Sonos with Google Assistant is already been as common by Sonos users around the world. However, with the limitation of Google Assistant availability in the region, Malaysia Sonos users are not able to embrace the IoT capability as part of the overall experience. I know it is impossible to ask Sonos to "do something" but it would be really great if Sonos will look into this issue and work with Google to push through the wish list for the users residing in Malaysia. Much thanks.
