Ipad Remote Keyboard For Mac

I have used multiple keyboard for this and other iPads. This is by far the best and helps close the gap between the iPad and my Mac laptop, given the touchpad functionality.

I use this on a Macbook Pro and it works, mostly. With a little configuration, it works completely fine. Those who are quick to put this down that it does'nt work on MAC they are completly wrong. You just have to know a little bit about computers below I explain what you need to do. The first time I plugged it in, a Keyboard Assistant ran since the Mac didn't recognize the keyboard. I simply quit the assistant, and there was no problem. The forward, back, and black screen buttons work fine on both Powerpoint and Keynote. However out of the box, the play button works on neither. With some configuration, I was able to get the play button to work on both. To configure the Powerpoint for the play button, go to the Keyboard system preference and pick Keyboard Shortcuts. Then scroll down to Application and then hit the + key to add a shortcut. Pick Microsoft Powerpoint for the application (you may need to hit Other... to find it, since it's in a subdirectory in Applications). For Menu Title type in, exactly, Slide Show (without the quotes). Then in the Keyboard Shortcut, simply press the play button on the remote. That sets the shortcut to F5, which is what the remote sends when you press play. Now the play button works for Powerpoint. You can do the same for Keynote, with the menu title Play Slideshow. (And just a note you might have to type in the search to find keynote.app) Then all the buttons on the remote work on the Mac for both powerpoint and keynote. Enjoy and go buy it this is an excellent price

This is simply the best keyboard for an iPad Pro.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! A must-have for the newest Mac Ipad and I Phone I just wish they would make one or two adaptors

This keyboard and mouse are very easy to use. After the MAC keyboard and mouse this is a dream to use.

Got this keyboard along with the Mac mini and I couldn’t be happier.

My change to this keyboard was from Mac keyboard (I use PC but like mac keyboard a lot)- and it's also very nice in touch, solid heavy build and first of all - very usefull in Premiere CC, I found some new shortcuts ;) Attatched led lamp also practical on my desk especially in low light room I work in.
