After years of trying to teleprompt by using a phone as a remote control for the ipad, I got tired of the scripts appearing differently on the client's screen versus what my phone showed. What's the point of seeing the script on your phone if it's not anywhere close to what the client is seeing. So, I got one of these adapters, a 12 inch monitor, a long 16 foot thin HDMI cable, and now I run the prompter app on my iPhone (in horizontal orientation) and it shows exactly the same on the prompter monitor. I bought this because I needed a HUGE universal style soft box and this delivered. I use this with a Westcott diffusor and it performed as desired. Better yet the client loved the quality of light, which gives this product and A+ in my book. 5 |

If you need a small universal Arca style mount this is the one, and for the price, can't be beat. Well made, with good finish. I am using them on my Metz 45 flashes to mount them on light stands (which I have equipped with small Arca quick releases). 5 |
