Great IPC increase from zen 2 with speeds regularly above what the boost advertises on the box, normally 4850 MHz on most cores. Make sure you have a capable CPU cooler as this runs fairly hot with a significant work load. 5 |

Got this 5900X to replace my 3900X. Improvement in IPC and boost clock has been stellar in comparison to 3900X. With 3900x was barely able to reach advertised boost clock even changing multiple settings over and over again. With 5900X, no problem reaching over 5GHZ. Also noticed pretty decent improvement in gaming, especially older titles that rely on CPU under DX9. Simracing, especially older titles can really benefit from this processor 5 |

IPC's were increased and it now smokes previous-gen Ryzen and Intel. I really can't complain. Best CPU I have ever bought! 5 |

The processes definitely has made some significant IPC gain from last generation. The overall performance for rendering while spiking for gaming was worth every penny. 5 |
