Iphone 15 Camera Raw

I got this unit firstly to properly geotag my raw files on my 5DIII. It's working well so far. I have it set to track every 15 seconds to prolong battery life so when driving fast on winding roads it is not so accurate but good enough to see what road I am on. Works great when stopped of course - happy with that. Oh, read the instructions. If using on the 5DIII put the unit on the camera before tuning it on. To sync properly I suppose. The best thing about it not being a built in unit, and I don't know why Canon don't push this fact, is that it can be used as a hand held tracking unit and will Geotag your other cameras with the supplied Map Utility software - as long as all of the camera clocks are set to the correct time. Last week I left my DSLR at home and went for a drive with the GP-E2 sitting on my Canon G1X. I had it set on track every 15 seconds and took shots of my travels throughout the afternoon with both the G1X and a little IXUS. When I got home it took minutes to upload the photos to the Map Utility and to see the track on a map with the location of my photos, both raw and jpgs, which are now Geotaged. Yes, it has advantages over built in units and having its own battery doesn't burden the camera battery.

Easy to use with iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone 15 Pro cameras are bigger, so add-on lenses have to be optimized for the new camera. (Stay away from budget lenses) I was happy to see it was sharp and in focus from corner to corner on my 15 Pro. The T-series mount is larger. Moment sells phones cases for the mount, and some iPhone cages have available adapter plates that can handle T-series mounts.  Mount the lens by twisting. Use the included hex key to align the lens so it's vertical. The iPhone 15 Pro camera is already wide, so adding a 1.33x lens means we are approaching the ultra wide view of a GoPro. (You can punch in with the Blackmagic Camera app--so that gives you a range of options). The gold anamorphic flares are stronger than the older models which is nice. Worth the money.

Great camera for raw shooting!

I ordered the 15 foot version and could not be happier. Using to connect an iPhone ( with vga adaptor) to the VGA input on an older boat television. Moderate gauge wire for audio and video....I know it is an old school wired connection...but hey works well. Cables say quality the minute you touch them. BTW... I have 40 years of electrical engineering experience. Just buy it.

Used for backing up my iPhone 15 Pro & my Thunderbolt 4 equipped laptop with iTunes.

I bought this product a month ago and I’m very happy I did. This vent mount is unobtrusive, and holds on to my iPhone 15 Pro Max without losing the angle I set it at. A massive improvement from my previous vent mount

Great Product! Only TC Generator that works with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Blackmagic Camera App. I wish it had a LCD Screen like the Deity TC-1 does.

Utilizing this with an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I'm impressed with its ability to hold that size phone with just the magnetic feet. Well made, easy to use, and the bluetooth shutter remote that comes with it is a very welcome bonus.
