The iPhone 15 Pro cameras are bigger, so add-on lenses have to be optimized for the new camera. (Stay away from budget lenses) I was happy to see it was sharp and in focus from corner to corner on my 15 Pro. The T-series mount is larger. Moment sells phones cases for the mount, and some iPhone cages have available adapter plates that can handle T-series mounts. Mount the lens by twisting. Use the included hex key to align the lens so it's vertical. The iPhone 15 Pro camera is already wide, so adding a 1.33x lens means we are approaching the ultra wide view of a GoPro. (You can punch in with the Blackmagic Camera app--so that gives you a range of options). The gold anamorphic flares are stronger than the older models which is nice. Worth the money. 5 |

Not being a pro perhaps hindered my using this lens well from the get-go. First, I had to figure out all the proper settings to use with it. I knew it was a manual lens...but I am so spoiled by all the auto features that it took me a bit to get the hang of it. But when I saw the first results in Lightroom, I was thrilled. I wanted sharp wide angle landscapes and that's what I got. But, even better, I got some beautiful shots of flowers backed with a lovely bokeh. For the price, how could it get any better? 5 |
