Iphone 15 Ultra Front Camera

Easy to use with iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Very well made, compact lightbox. Being ultra thin makes popping it into the front pocket of my camera bag or desk drawer very easy. Colour is perfect, as is brightness. I have been very impressed as to how long the batteries last, too. Being from NZ I had to get a new power adapter, but that proved very easy as well. Highly recommended

The iPhone 15 Pro cameras are bigger, so add-on lenses have to be optimized for the new camera. (Stay away from budget lenses) I was happy to see it was sharp and in focus from corner to corner on my 15 Pro. The T-series mount is larger. Moment sells phones cases for the mount, and some iPhone cages have available adapter plates that can handle T-series mounts.  Mount the lens by twisting. Use the included hex key to align the lens so it's vertical. The iPhone 15 Pro camera is already wide, so adding a 1.33x lens means we are approaching the ultra wide view of a GoPro. (You can punch in with the Blackmagic Camera app--so that gives you a range of options). The gold anamorphic flares are stronger than the older models which is nice. Worth the money.

I did a couple tests with my iPhone 11 Pro. On one I was driving down the highway with the windows down doing 70 and did test recordings with the front facing camera and back camera with the built in iPhone mics and with the Rode VideoMic. First off, just using the built in mics, there is a bit of a difference depending on if you shoot with the front facing camera or rear camera. Neither of them were great when I did the highway test. On one of them I could barely hear my voice. Then I used the Rode mic with the dead cat that was included and I could hear my voice no problem. It provided very usable audio. Yes, there's still some background noise cause I'm going 70 with the windows down. But I was VERY impressed at how well it rejects sound that's not straight ahead. A solid shotgut mic for your iPhone for sure.

I have used many ultra wide angle lenses (Zeiss 15, 18, Batis 18, Sony Zeiss 16-35, Loxia 21, Canon 17 TSE) and the Canon 16-35 III is the best mix of sharpness and usability of all.

These ultra compact stands are just great! I carry 2 of these stands with me all day during 15-20 hour Indian weddings. I mount a speed light to each stand and occasionally an umbrella. They do wobble, but I know they aren't going anywhere. I previously used very similar Calumet brand stands, but they started to fail after a couple years of hard use. I have also tried the Manfrotto counterpart. However, Westcott's version is just as sturdy, but also taller than the competition. As a bonus, the legs are removable to form a monopole. I'm not sure why this isn't advertised. It's a nice function that works securely. Buy these if you need ultra portable or travel stands that don't need to support much more weight than speedlights.

The Ruggard 15 Ultra Thin Netbook Sleeve was a bit too light for swinging my MacBook around in, but if anyone out there has an LED Light Tracing Tablet or similar device, this sleeve was a perfect fit.  I carry my LED tablet around without fear of potential bang-ups and the hidden outside pocket is a nice ad-on for the power cord/gadgets.  Those handles fold down into side pouches if you just want to carry the bag by the edge and its overall very light.  A perfect fit.

I ordered the 15 foot version and could not be happier. Using to connect an iPhone ( with vga adaptor) to the VGA input on an older boat television. Moderate gauge wire for audio and video....I know it is an old school wired connection...but hey works well. Cables say quality the minute you touch them. BTW... I have 40 years of electrical engineering experience. Just buy it.

Used for backing up my iPhone 15 Pro & my Thunderbolt 4 equipped laptop with iTunes.
