Purchased refurbished, looks brand new.

I had debated whether to go for the refurbished instead of new but decided it was worth it to save almost $300. The fact it was Nikon Refurbished and therefore has a Nikon Warranty means the extra warranty protection from my credit card should also apply. Well I got my camera and except for the fact that it wasn't in the pretty gold box, it looks jut like new - My first picture was shutter activation #1! I am very happy about my purchase and am having fun learning about all of the new features compared to my old D90. I took a group picture at my Rotary Club meeting using the Nikon SnapBridge and was even able to adjust the exposure to compensate for backlighting.

6 months later it's on 18hrs/day, no problems. If you still need VGA, this will work well for you. Good color out of the box, no complaints.

I ordered a UC-E6 cable for my Coolpix camera on Sept.6 2016 from B&H Electronics. Nikon and most other sites were out of stock for this specific cord.My order was shipped from Brooklyn N.Y. to Wasilla Alaska on the 6th and arrived at my home on the 10th. Easy to open I am trying to carry it with the legs unlocked. If you carry it upside down then you can just turn it over and the legs will extend by themselves and all that you have to do is lock them. Cuts setup time in half. I am 6ft 2in tall so I just wish that it was a little bit taller.
