Iphone 6 Otterbox Defender Headphone Jack

needed it for an iphone w/o the headphone jack

Works very well with my Otterbox Defender case on my iPhone 11, and has a solid grip. I am using it with my Pedco II Tabletop Tripod, and so far so good. Well made product for taking photos of my clay work.

Fits my iPhone 7 with otterbox defender perfectly! Solid hardware that is screw mount adjustable and isn't dependent on springs or straps to secure it in place. Forget the iPhone cages, just get this for 1/4 the price and call it a day.

Was concerned that this would not hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max in the Otterbox Defender case and it fits great and attaches to my monopod without issue. Makes taking video of my kids concerts easier and less straining on my hand holding my phone up.

I had used an Otterbox Defender case on my iPhone, so naturally I wanted one for my iPad 5th Gen. I waited 2 months for them to finally make them, but it's worth the wait! The confidence of knowing that a fall from a mic stand will not damage my device is worth the price...

I currently have two other versions of this Lav.  This is a unique addition to those.  I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack!  Works great for memo recording and also live streaming.  I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio.  The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far.  Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself!   [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I used this hooked up to my iPhone 6+ in the past, but since I upgraded to the 7+ with no headphone jack I've been using the mic hooked up to an audio recorder for my DSLR video (the recorder has phantom power). I use the extension cable and rode adapter for standard 3.5mm input and it works great. The sound is as good as I'll need it to be for interviews. I'd only upgrade to a nicer mic if this one breaks.

I use this little device for my iPhone 7. I wasn't that bummed out about them getting rid of the headphone jack because I thought it was a smart move! You can still make and receive calls with the EarPods and I'm sure other headphones too, along with being able to control your music which is the biggest thing for me! xD I have one that was given as a gift, so I gave the one I bought to my boyfriend and he loves it too! I highly recommend this little adapter! ??
