I chose this mount based on reviews and because I was terrified that more affordable mounts may weaken over time and eventually fail. Had the mount professionally installed and the installer said that he's seen a ton of mounts and this one is definitely one of the sturdiest he's ever seen. Ours is holding a 65 inch TV and it articulates so smoothly. No concern about it being unable to hold the weight at all. Well worth the price for quality and it's ability to articulate.
