Iphone 7 Lightning Cable Only Works One Way

Bought to use with my iPhone SE and TV at home and to take on the road. Works great. Only had one hiccup where tv didn't recognize the device when I plugged it in, but just re-seated the cable and it worked. Probably the TV, not the phone or cable. Highly recommend.

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

The killer app for this device (for me) was that connecting the receiver to an iPhone with the usb-c to lightning cable maintains discrete stereo separation for recording to several video applications. Tested working on ProMovie and MoviePro. The magnets are very capable of holding the transmitters onto a shirt during vigorous activity.   )) significant note: Noise cancellation only works when conveying the signal through the receiver to a camera or smart phone.

This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means.

This charger had no problem quickly charging an iPhone 8 using a ToughTested USB-A to Lightning cable also purchased from B&H.

In order to use my old iPhone 5c with the Rode Micro microphone, this cable was necessary. I adapted it to my iPhone 7 lightning port as a test and it didn't work. I didn't investigate because the plan was to use the mic with the old phone anyway, so it might have worked and could have been my set up.

Works flawlessly with my iPhone 12 Pro and an audio to lightning adapter...using Rose Wireless Go - class!

All of the other similar cables that I've tried mix both channels together on the iPhone. This is one of the ONLY 2 cables that will send a true stereo signal to the iPhone with each mic on a separate channel. The only other cable that will do that is the RODE SC15, which is always on backorder. This cable is 5', which isn't the best but at least it works.
