The killer app for this device (for me) was that connecting the receiver to an iPhone with the usb-c to lightning cable maintains discrete stereo separation for recording to several video applications. Tested working on ProMovie and MoviePro. The magnets are very capable of holding the transmitters onto a shirt during vigorous activity. )) significant note: Noise cancellation only works when conveying the signal through the receiver to a camera or smart phone. 5 |

This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means. 5 |

In order to use my old iPhone 5c with the Rode Micro microphone, this cable was necessary. I adapted it to my iPhone 7 lightning port as a test and it didn't work. I didn't investigate because the plan was to use the mic with the old phone anyway, so it might have worked and could have been my set up. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product it is a must have for the iPhone 7 Plus. This is great for keeping your I Phone charged while you listening to music or if you talk on the phone a lot. The only drawback is I wish it had a softer more flexible cable for running or walking you have a lot of cables with the headphones and the charger and they are a little difficult to manage with the stiff cable coming from your phone. 5 |
