Straightforward to install using the Nest app on iPhone. Instructions in the app are easy to understand and well illustrated. Good that a masonry bit is included though did not need it. Worked right after installation with wedge (a great way to properly point the camera) and installing into the Nest system. The next day able to detect a repairman at the door and remotely spoke to him to find out he was supposed to be at a neighbor's house. Alerts are great, will be subscribing to Nest Aware when trial period is over. 5 |

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE. 5 |
