Iphone 8 Lightning Cable Not Working

Excellent authentic Apple power adapter for plugging iPhone lightning cable to wall outlet. B&H always has those tidbits we cannot live without, thank you!!

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

The killer app for this device (for me) was that connecting the receiver to an iPhone with the usb-c to lightning cable maintains discrete stereo separation for recording to several video applications. Tested working on ProMovie and MoviePro. The magnets are very capable of holding the transmitters onto a shirt during vigorous activity.   )) significant note: Noise cancellation only works when conveying the signal through the receiver to a camera or smart phone.

This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means.

This charger had no problem quickly charging an iPhone 8 using a ToughTested USB-A to Lightning cable also purchased from B&H.

In order to use my old iPhone 5c with the Rode Micro microphone, this cable was necessary. I adapted it to my iPhone 7 lightning port as a test and it didn't work. I didn't investigate because the plan was to use the mic with the old phone anyway, so it might have worked and could have been my set up.

It’s bend capacity is huge, it’s been quite resilient since using it, workmanship is easily top of the line, and, of course, is still working since I open the box which is really nice considering a lot of the offbrand cables don’t work after about a week. It’s been a while now and the fact that this one still working is pretty impressive. I think it’s been a little over a month maybe two? That’s worth it to me.

We still have one lightning iPhone that won't die, so a couple of these long cords are a big help!

If you have mic'd headphones, then this TRRS is useful for monitoring and recording on a lightning input iPhone.
