I installed 2 of these WD RED Plus 10TB drives in my WD My Cloud Ex2 Ultra and set them to Mirror RAID. I reloaded 6 TB of data which took 7 days and the drives worked flawlessly. These drives are quiet, fast and well worth the money. If you have a lot of data to store, I highly recommend these drives for you. My old WD Red 6TB drives worked for 6 years, until I ran out of space, with no problems so, I trust the WD Red drives to hold my data and so should you. 5 |

I bought 4 of these 4tb Red Plus drives to replace 4 2tb Red drives that are 8 years old. I figure I've pushed my luck long enough with the old drives but they have been rock-solid. I needed the extra capacity and feel better having new drives installed. I have confidence these new drives will provide a good level of performance and longevity. 5 |

On a holiday project to update archives of my enormous digital photo library, I bought a WD 6TB Red Plus and WD Black 6TB at BHPhoto. Each is mounted in a Novus enclosure. The Red Plus performs absolutely silently and like a rocket ship, markedly faster than the WD Black drive. Both drives are excellent quality in my opinion. 5 |

Works just as expected. I use with 2 Red Plus Drives and is very fast. Upload and download speeds at around 110MB/s on big size files, around 30MB/s on small files. Works flawlessly with Mac OS and Time Machine backups. Fan is silent and I do not hear it running, the only noise is when hard drives are in use. The OS for the NAS works well and is snappy. Powder coated metal case looks nice and gives it a great build quality. I highly recommend. 5 |
