Iphone App To View Surveillance Camera

Wanted another camera to go with six camera kit with nvr which were used for outside surveillance. Placed new camera inside to see down hallway. Great view and image.

Love this monitor, easy and nice view with my surveillance system.

I needed a webcam to use for working from home. I was skeptical at first that a small webcam such as this could produce a great image but I purchased anyway. After hooking the camera up and installing the optional Logitech Camera Settings app, I was blown away at the quality and field of view this camera offered. The 1080p resolution is crystal clear, even when zooming in. The zoom and pan options in the Logitech Camera Settings app were a nice touch to allow you to zoom in on yourself or pull focus on something else in view without having to physically move the camera. One thing I was happy to see is that this camera doesn't do that weird zoom/auto-focus thing that many Logitech cameras do where the person goes completely out of focus for a few seconds while it tries to auto-focus. I have a headset that I use for my video conferencing but the camera includes a microphone, should you need one. So far, I have zero complaints on the product. Overall, I would highly recommend this webcam for it's quality and features.

I'm very pleased with the Synology Surveillance system. Disk storage is a central part of a security camera system, and when I started researching additional storage for my old Windows-based system, I realized that Synology has a great add-on called Surveillance Station. I bought a Synology storage array with the intention of either using it with my existing Windows system or perhaps with the built-in Surveillance Station. I tested Surveillance Station and it worked really well - great software if you want their stand-along application - great web interface if you don't want to use the desktop app - and a great mobile app. I threw out the old Windows box and went with this complete solution instead. I will also point out that Synology offered me free trial licensees so I could test this with all 32 of my cameras at once. Definitely worth contacting them if you have questions or want a full-scale trial.

You charge the battery for 12-24 hours and then you can put it in and scan the code for step by step instructions for set up. After this I placed the camera where I could view moving objects from many places. The camera has good range and clarity. You have the option of having photos or videos. The instructions have you download the app and create an account. This app allows you to view any activity that is a moving object. You can request an HD picture if you want a better view and clarity. You get a week subscription for free and then you pick up monthly or annual plan. There are 3 levels depending on how many photos and videos you want each month. This is the only feature I don't like because I think you should get the maximum memory for one rate. Overall...this is a great camera that serves the purpose. It is also waterproof so it's great for outside. You can also use it indoors. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have about 4 of these cameras up now and let me tell you, they do not disappoint. The camera that you get is only as good as the app that you view them through and again, no regrets. I have had a couple of off brand cameras and I could get them to work, eventually, but these are super easy to setup and the app has never crashed. Cloud backup means that if there is an incedent and they take or destroy the cameras, you still have them on video. I highly recommend these.

The build quality of this camera is top notch. Everything is metal except for the plastic rin you use to cover the mounting screws. This is my first IP camera in my current build of a Milestone XProtect Essential (the free one) system. It is easy to configure as long as you download the Hikvision SADP configuration app, you load that up and it will find and configure the camera basics for you. To view the stream without any IPcam software you will need to use Internet Explorer and allow the ActiveX extension to run (you will not be able to view the stream through Edge, Chrome, Safari, etc since they no longer support these extensions). This camera is not meant for anyone who wants something simple, its meant for those who want something reliable, feature-rich, and effective. I have not bothered with the Hikconnect mobile app, since I am running my milestone system. If you are serious about putting together a surveillance system, and don’t want to waste your money on cloud subscription fees or worrying about the company going bankrupt or being bought out (RIP Wink, Nest, etc) this is a camera for you. Think of this camera as the speakers you buy separate from your audio receiver; you want to mount those quality speakers and hopefully only have to update the receiver down the road. Same principle applies here. Cheers mate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is honestly a great camera to post up outside. I actually like it because it's not wireless and I don't have to charge it all the time. It is a wired camera and I have an outlet on my porch so it worked out perfect. The camera was very easy to install after you download the app and connect the cam on your app. The actual view in the cam is epic I can see so clear on it and zoom in and out while watching live. The cam is small and connects to the holder via magnet. Very cool little cam indeed. The cam is made nicely and very sturdy. Small but amazing view. I like the little bubble that pops up on the bottom when a person is detected. It takes a snap shot of people walking by which is cool also. Very unique and cool camera. I would definitely recommend this little cool cam.
