Iphone Camera Shutter Noise

Love this remote, it reduces noise and vibration because you don't have to touch the shutter speed.

If you are looking for something to make you iPhone work through a sound board this is the item you need. It really helps with the clear sound with no back ground noise.

Works perfectly and is MUCH better than the one I had. Using with an iPhone 8. (A good idea is to have a remote shutter control, too, BTW.)

FIRST: A MUST! Turn the NR (Noise Reduction) to LOW. You will be much happier with the sharpness of your photos. Somehow the NR affects the photos more than with the P900. I wish the menu allowed us to turn it off completely. Noise reduction should be done in post-processing and before you do any more with the photo. Also, with full or near full zoom, make sure your shutter speed is high. When I use my elbows as a tripod, I still see much better sharpness with 1/200 shutter speed or above. ISO 200 works great. More with a later review.

I am new to low light photography, I take photos at a racetrack at night, under the stadium lighting and without a flash. I was previously using the 14-54 f2.8-f3.5 high grade lens. It worked but the noise was high at ISO 3200 and shutter of around 120th at f3.5 with 54mm. After upgrading to the 35-100 f2 I can run a much brighter picture at similar settings with much less noise or 500th shutter speed at 9:00pm; 100mm at f2 and 3200 ISO, but with a brighter picture with much less noise. I can now take sharp photos of race cars moving at 70 mph coming towards me at 9:00pm.

What can I say? Through the viewfinder 18 frames per second; through Live View 20 frames per second with an electronic shutter (no noise!!!). Shooting wildlife, particularly birds with rapid movements, it is The Bomb. I can't mentions all the features: the active LCD screen on the back will focus on a spot with the touch of your finger while in Live View, etc, etc, etc. I'm sold

Excellent quality, no noise running through my subwoofers input, cleanest signal from an iPhone/iPod/Macbook headphone port, does the job plain and simple.

I use this on an iPhone 12 Pro and it works as I would expect. Nice sound, no extraneous noise. To do it right, you will need a small tripod or GorillaPod. The mics require you to mount the phone upside down if you want the mics on top. The Zoom software is a pain - usable, but not very well executed.

Very powerful yet affordable, make no noise, fairly light, easily controllable via the iPhone app. I like the daylight version better than the variable temp one, they have extra oomph. I like them so much I have now 4 of these!
