I had heard very mixed reviews about this 1.4 converter but I really wanted more reach than the 40/150 F2.8 Pro zoom lens offered so I took a chance and purchased the MC-14. It's tiny, fits very securely and has given me excellent results so far. I hardly notice the extra length and weight it adds to the lens, body combination. The auto focus of the lens/converter may be a smidgeon slower than the lens body zone but it has in no way impacted the cameras ability to focus and lock on. Images are crisp, CA's are well controlled. The camera's IBIS works well with it. Is there a downside? When I decided to buy it it was $349.00, had watched for another sale like Olympus had prior which was$299.00. I wish that was the priceI could have been able to get it at. I would purchase this item again.

The glowing reviews of this lens are entirely true. The lens is tack sharp on the Z7. I wasn't able to compare it directly with my Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E but I can verify that it is extremely sharp. Focus is silent and quick. I had no issues with the F-mount version, it was a fantastic lens that I never thought I'd sell it but I'm glad I upgraded to this new Z-mount version. For one thing I don't need the FTZ converter anymore which is a relief. The earlier lens worked just fine with the converter but the extra length was kind of a pain. The sharpness tests I typically perform at home indicate that this lens is as sharp as any I have owned and is in the same league as the best primes. The technical reviews of this lens indicate that it exceeds the sharpness of the already super-sharp f/2.8E and I can easily believe that from my experience. Construction is very solid. Very happy with this purchase and with B&H as always.

As several of the other reviews have commented, this is an adapter, not a converter. If your component has S-Video output and VGA, though your VGA port, this works perfect. However, only a small percentage of components have this output. PC's usually do, so if that is what you are trying to convert, you might be good. Recommendation... check carefully, you likely will need a converter and not an adapter.

A must-have to connect to your iPhone 7, 8, & X. In my case my 6-month old Apple Lightning to headphone adapter didn't work; once I replaced it with a new one this Rode cable worked properly. BONUS: Check out the Rode SC6 to add a headphone output to the input chain!

I currently have two other versions of this Lav.  This is a unique addition to those.  I will be using this on my iPhone since they did away with the headphone jack!  Works great for memo recording and also live streaming.  I will be using this for youtube uploads that require little to no editing so I can quickly plug in, record and upload with better audio.  The cord is a good length and I am loving it so far.  Whats also great is that this does not require a battery like my other wired units and there is a headphone jack if you need to monitor yourself!   [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

With either a SC6 (Rode Cable) and SC7 (Rode Adapter) I was able to connect my headphone and VideoMicro Compact to my Iphone 6s+. Much more mobile and ready to do what I need to do.
