The MDR 7506 is an amazing set of headphones. Right from its snug/comfortable fit to amazing sound, everything about it oozes class and quality. No wonder that this product is like a permanent fixture in pretty much every recording studio that's out there. Spend a few hours with it and you will know why- the clarity in sound is just amazing, I was hearing instruments that I didn't even know existed on some of my favorite songs. I heard a lot about AKG headphones so I decided to get my own pair. I bought the K182 over the ear headphones. Right out of the box they sounded good. I am still breaking them in as I only purchased them a couple weeks ago. I listen to music at home using my iPad and some streaming services. Very happy with the Quality build and comfort fit. Works great for running. Right after putting them on, I could hear the headphones moving in the ears, distorting the sound somewhat. However, after about 20 minutes they either settled, or I got used to the phones, and the I had no problem listening to even podcasts over the next 10 runs. The controls are fine. Although I wish it were possible to rewind the current song -- especially important for podcasts. Also, the headphones' quality is better than I expected, and now I'm not sure anymore if the newer model with bluetooth wouldn't worth the price difference. 5 |

The fit-and-finish is top-notch. Strong yet light with legs that are independently adjustable for any surface. Matches well with a Really Right Stuff BH-25 LR ball head or any iPhone grip clamp. The legs are even better than the Really Right Stuff TFA-01, although not as compact. I take this and the TFA-01 on all photo trips. 5 |
