Iphone Headphones Mode No Sound

Folks, I just got my new iPhone wallet to go with my matchingly cased iPhone Pro Max. They look so slick! The wallet hangs on the back like a baby kangaroo. Only safer. No way this can fall off on its own. I love how I can rotate the stand halfway so I can watch YouTube in landscape mode and still juggle! Just kidding. I don’t juggle. But I do watch YouTube in landscape mode and it’s a relief not to have to hold the phone while watching. No wrist pain! And I can put all my credit cards and my driver license in the wallet, so all I have to grab is my keys and I go leaping out the door! Just kidding. I don’t leap. Anyway, this is the second case-and-wallet set from Peak Design I’ve owned and I love this one as much as the first. Which, by the way, was still working good-as-new after accompanying my iPhone 12 for over two years. Peak Design, y’all do outstanding work. Highly recommended!! 5 |

Like most people, certain events call for certain genres of music. I love R&B-Soul when I’m a date night but I’ll take the Classic Rock/Rap music when I’m tossing the weights around in the gym. The clarity and feedback that I receive in sound from these headphones are astoundingly good. I literally feel like I’m in my own world once I put these on and go into immersion mode. The music is trapped within my ears and with still/motion mode, I can dictate whether the sound travel to the pace of my movements. Going from Aware mode to Quiet mode is like turning any and all distractions off. Not a peep, even from the loud train that zooms by my apartment complex on the daily. The sleekness, aluminum design, comfort, is all a bonus to the Ultra’s performance. I love the bold black and white creamed colors and I only expect Bose to release more colors in the near future. Aesthetics give it a nice blend of both the Quiet Comfort and Bose 700 headphones. I am extremely impressed with the stability and comfort as I go through high intensity, functional based exercises. For any athlete looking to perform their absolute best without worrying of their headphones falling off or the ear cusps moving around, I guarantee that problem is officially solved. I can take a sledgehammer to a tire, jump on 50 in vertical boxes, do high intensity agility runs, all without disrupting any bit of sound. Overall, if perfection had an image in the dictionary, i am almost sure these would be the main image! 5 |

These have a very clean, clear open sound for a noise cancelling headphone. When set with no EQ, they do have a significantly increased bass response compared to what I'm used to in headphones, but that bass is extremely tight and articulate, not boomy or muddy. You can turn it down 2 to 4 dB with the simple three-band EQ that is set from the iPhone or Android app if you're like me. (Note that I'm used to somewhat lean bass, my wired headphones being HD600, HD800S, and Audeze LCD-5, all of which can benefit from a bass boost in EQ). Unlike my first wireless Momentum, these pair easily and reliably with Apple devices (in my case) including laptop, iPhone, and iPad. They can pair two devices at once and auto-switch between them. The call quality is exceptional, the touch control on the righthand earpiece is easy and simple, and the noice cancelling is good, without giving the impression of reduced sound quality. Last, they offer insanly good battery life! (Sennheiser claims 60 hours). At the new lower price, I think they are an excellent value, and a pleasure to listen to. 5 |

This is a well made, simple splitter that allows one to use an external mic with an iPhone/iPad and monitor the sound with headphones. I keep it in a baggie in my messenger bag so that it doesn't get caught on anything, and always have it with me with a lav mic for interviews. 5 |

I use these headphones with my iPhone, Laptop and other MP3 players and find them to be very comfortable and very compact. The sound quality after breaking them in is awesome for this price point. I also have a pair of Senheizer PX100 II's and I think the sound is similar for less money. The Koss Portapros come in a little carry bag that is quite useful. I only hope Koss continue to make these as I remember trying these at a store about 25 years ago @ $ Australian Dollars. 5 |

This is not the type of headphones you take with you in the street to listen to music from your iPhone. Regarding this use, it is not really convenient. But, this is the headphone to get if you do sound engineering work in studio. And all sound studios have this model, it is a reference. Its purpose is not to make the music sounds beautiful, but to be as neutral as possible. 5 |

I was looking for a pair of headphones for my iPhone 7, and these are even better than I expected! The sound is incredibly rich and clear - both the highs and lows are well-defined. The call quality is also very good - I use the headphones all the time for work. 5 |

I'm so glad I got this effective and beautiful piece of gear. The best sound I have ever experienced over headphones... ever. No noise while turning any of the pots whatsoever. I've had it for a little over a month now so it's fully 'burned in'. The crossfeed matrix is effective but not overly aggressive. Love being able to trim the center image down. If you want the best, here it is. Word of Warning: If you are a 'Gamer', listen to dudstep, watch my little pony, or use dr. beats headphones, this is not for you. It will scare, confuse, and intimidate you. 5 |
