I have owned the Shure SE425 in-ear headphones and the SE535 for some time now. I love the clear and non-bassy reproduction of the Shure SE425, on my iPhone 6s especially in conjunction with the in-line remote/mic cable. In conjunction with the Bluetooth 5.0 Communication Cable, the bass is much more pronounced, almost too much for me! The Shure SE535 headphones sounds warmer, the frequency response may score better in tests, but in conjunction with my iPhone, I prefer the SE425. However, things are different when pairing my Android phone with a DAC headphone amplifier: Here, the Shure SE535 headphones clearly show their strengths compared to the SE425. 5 |

Absolutely the best purchase I have made for headphones. No more pulling ear buds out to hear what others are saying. It is like being in a room with a stereo and speakers on a shelf. I can hear conversations and still enjoy my music!! 5 |

The more I use these headphones, the better I like them. No more sore ears, no dead spots in peripheral hearing due to in ear blocking buds. Sound quality is very good and noise canceling is excellent. I would recommend these phones to anyone who uses Bluetooth extensively. Two thumbs up. 5 |

I'm very particular about how well my audio sounds. I have high end, over the ear headphones and love the sound....but, I needed a small set of in ear bud type for certain activities. I had heard many folks on audio review shows speak highly of this model....so I tried them and am very pleased with them. They do take a little work to get them in your ears properly, withnthe cable going over the top and down the backside.....good sound. 5 |
