I've been able to stream great sounding music to powered speakers from my iphone and windows 10 desktop. The iphone was a cinch. The desktop took some finagling... I'm not even sure what I did to make it work in the end, but it all works now. 5 |

I've been a Windows owner for many years, except for my iPhone and iPad products. I have a very fast Windows machine to edit video and this MacBook Pro has no problems keeping up. Editing with Photoshop and Premiere Pro is a breeze. Rendering video is fast and I also started using my MacBook Pro with Logic to record music. I highly recommend this laptop for photo and video editing! 5 |

I did a couple tests with my iPhone 11 Pro. On one I was driving down the highway with the windows down doing 70 and did test recordings with the front facing camera and back camera with the built in iPhone mics and with the Rode VideoMic. First off, just using the built in mics, there is a bit of a difference depending on if you shoot with the front facing camera or rear camera. Neither of them were great when I did the highway test. On one of them I could barely hear my voice. Then I used the Rode mic with the dead cat that was included and I could hear my voice no problem. It provided very usable audio. Yes, there's still some background noise cause I'm going 70 with the windows down. But I was VERY impressed at how well it rejects sound that's not straight ahead. A solid shotgut mic for your iPhone for sure. 5 |

Awesome laptop. Yes, you can purchase a Windows laptop with better specs, but the build quality and overall user experience of this Apple machine are just outstanding. Touch ID works exactly like on my iPhone (not those buggy sensors on the other laptops). The display is great. The TouchPad is the best I've ever used, very similar to iPhone touchscreen experience, very smooth and precise. I just don't understand why Win laptops manufacturers can't figure out how to make a great touchpad. It is very light and compact and the battery life is awesome as well. Very happy with my purchase 5 |
