This is a well made, simple splitter that allows one to use an external mic with an iPhone/iPad and monitor the sound with headphones. I keep it in a baggie in my messenger bag so that it doesn't get caught on anything, and always have it with me with a lav mic for interviews. 5 |

I'm using these headphones with a Rode NTG video mic.I've got the mic attached to my iPhone (USB outout) and the headphones attached to the analog output of the mic. This allows me to listen to the mic output while recording. Works like a charm. The mic has a volume control on the headphone output, but the low impedance headphones are plenty loud anyway. The iPhone is using the Merlin App for recording bird calls. I can now hear those call with clarity. 5 |

I use in on my iPhone 5s and iPad air 2 with a powered and non powered mono lave mic. If your mic is mono you will need to get mono to sterio adapter for it to work. 5 |

I love this mic!!! I thought I would need to purchase another dongle and adapter to connect it to my laptop and my iPhone but it's not needed at all! This mic can automatically detect what it's being connected to and it works so effortlessly! The sound quality is top notch too! I love how you can adjust the db levels as well. After buying a USB-C lav mic which I intended to use with my MacBook and my iPhone (with an adapter), I soon realized that while there are adapters to plug a USB mic into an iPhone lighting port, there aren't any for USB-C mics. The only USB-C to lightning adapters I could find would not work with audio, only charging. The Comica Audio adapter allows me to use two adapters -- USB-C to USB to Lightning -- to use my lav mic on my iPhone. 5 |
